Frontlines 3.0 - bugs and submits

for now, i have seen only 2 little bugs:

- when we drop all our weapons (nothing in our hands), we can't use the kinfe.
- when there are for exemple, in a side(A) 1 player and in the other side(B) 2 player alive, 1 of 2 side(B) player suicide himself holding a grenade and this one explose; the Hajas Duel doesn't start.



submits:
- disable/enable perk Last Stand
- disable/enable perk Martyrdom
- disable/enable item "kill" in sabotage (hardcore)
- activated sound when we plant or difuse bomb (sd, sab)

that's right, in COD4 knife isn't a weapon, is kind of the old bash with the gun, so only works carrying a gun unfortunately.

that's why in bash mode you carry always an empty gun. Wink

yes, that's also right... Duel will only work when you have at least 2x2 in the map. This is to avoid to be fixed on Duel all the time with less players, for exemple will be impossible to play 1x1 without that.

if you want to play bash mode with less than 2x2 players, set hajas_weapons 1

no probleme for player planting or defusing bomb but for the player in the other team(defender, team who have not the bomb):

in sabotage:
the plant jingle comes at the end of the plant and there is no jingle to defuse

in search and destroy:
the plant jingle comes at the end of the plant and the defuse jingle comes at the start of the plant

for exemple in PAM4 mod, there is a cvar :
set pam_oldstyle_sd_bombsounds to setup when the jingle coming.



For the Hajas Duel, i did some test with 2 vs 2 and for a suicide player with grenade or falling, it doesn't start but when i did this test 1 player was downloading the map and after(no player downloading) i redid the same test and it worked great Shocked , so maybe it was the downloading player who made bug hajas duel Shocked , i realy don't know.

ahh... ok... there's no default var to control this?

well, noted... but I don't want to wast dvars slots in this kind of options, I'll need them for my new gametypes and specially to War Server.

So if left space to this, np... Wink

about the duel, yeah... is about 2x2 PLAYING and not CONNECTED. Is the same behavior or the Last Man Warning.... both sides must receive this warning then the Duel will start if enable. Wink

I'll also throw in a potential bug....I need to try and duplicate multiple times though. In a recent 4 v 4 game of SD, 3 guys were killed leaving a 4 v 1 game....the guy that was the only remaining player on his team was "in bash mode" while the other team still had their weapons.

We'll keep using random gametype dvar but the first few nights we played, it seemed to continually select Commander or Battlefront in a much higher frequency than the other gametypes I have selected (SD, sab, koth)...is this just a coincidence??

BTW Freddy, thanks for the help on the server the other night....sorry I missed you. Turns out I had set hajas_weapons_random set to 1....my fault Smile

hmmm... that's bad... this can't happen... probably this could happen if something not expected happen in the middle of one Duel few rounds before... I think... I'll look the code to avoid that... if you have a demo with this happening, please send to me.

if you added the other gametypes, have the same chance to be selected. it's really random... so you just had bad luck on that time. Laughing
